Mystical Athlete
Taylor Diepold is more than a coach—she’s a transformative guide known for using science-backed neurometabolic techniques to create powerful mind-body breakthroughs.
Her approach blends Western science with Eastern practices, offering a radical shift from traditional wellness models. As an internationally renowned coach, speaker, and “mystical athlete,” Taylor has crafted a system that doesn’t just build physical health—it cultivates resilience, sharpens mental clarity, and fuels high performance.
Her mission? To help ambitious individuals and teams access their full potential through exploration, breath mastery, and nervous system reconditioning. This isn’t just “wellness”—it’s a pathway to self-mastery.
The Method: DIEP Fitness & Exploration
At the heart of Taylor’s approach is DIEP Fitness & Exploration, a unique coaching method designed to train the nervous system at its core. This system doesn’t just target muscles or endurance—it rewires the body’s operating system, helping clients develop the qualities that high performers need most: resilience, adaptability, and cognitive sharpness.
Taylor’s methods are rooted in Brain-Derived Neurotropic Factor (BDNF) and advanced neuro-metabolic techniques, which support brain plasticity, enhance stress tolerance, and ignite mental clarity. Her protocols are designed for leaders, change-makers, and those looking to optimize their health and performance.
At the heart of it all? Breath.
Taylor’s coaching revolves around breath control as the ultimate tool for self-regulation. Using data-driven measures like VO2 Max, Heart Rate Variability, perceived exertion, and Pranayama (breath control techniques), she helps clients tap into the transformative power of breath. This allows them to optimize focus, strengthen their mental clarity, and build calm under pressure—skills essential for navigating uncertainty in both personal and professional life.
The Explorer’s Path
Taylor’s approach isn’t built in a lab—it’s built on the peaks of mountains, the depths of oceans, and in the heart of sacred spaces. Her exploration of the world has taken her to the Red Sea, Morocco’s mountain peaks, the Holy of Holies in Egypt, and the lush Amazon rainforest. She’s summited some of the world’s tallest mountains and slept at their summits to explore how oxygenation and the nervous system are impacted at extreme altitudes.
Her adventures aren’t just for thrill—they’re experiments in physiology and self-mastery. By subjecting herself to these extreme conditions, Taylor has deepened her understanding of the nervous system’s response to stress, oxygen deprivation, and recovery.
Her personal fitness passions include:
Extreme Altitude hiking/mountaineering and open-water swimming
High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)
Hot and cold therapy (think ice baths and saunas)
Mindful hiking through ancient forests
Her work integrates these elements into client programs, so they’re not just learning from theory—they’re learning from lived experience.
More than a coach—
—it’s deeply personal. She’s lived it.
After overcoming teenage substance abuse and eating disorders, she rebuilt her body, mind, and spirit—eventually graduating summa cum laude with a biology degree. But she didn’t stop there. She became an elite athlete, competing on stages like USA Yoga, where strength, breath, and precision come together in a powerful display of mastery.
Her story is more than an origin story—it’s a mission statement. Everything she teaches comes from the lessons she’s learned in her own journey to self-mastery. Her mission is to help others do the same: not just “get fit” but to feel unshakable confidence in their bodies, minds, and capacity for greatness.
Speaker, Coach, and Workshop Innovator
its not just talk-its a transformation.
As a speaker, workshop facilitator, and consultant, Taylor helps teams and executives experience what it means to be resilient in the face of uncertainty. Her flagship workshop, The Mountain Journey, is a powerful experience where participants confront obstacles, challenges, and moments of uncertainty in a structured, guided environment.
Through the 3 stages of The Mountain Journey—The Base, The Climb, and The Summit— participants learn to navigate difficult situations with poise, strength, and upward momentum. They practice “upward language,” reframe challenges as opportunities, and experience what it feels like to arrive at the summit fully present, fully capable, and fully aware of new possibilities.
Who is The Mountain Journey for?
Executive leadership teams who want to lead with clarity in times of uncertainty
Team-building retreats for companies looking to foster trust and communication
Community groups and coalitions who need to develop shared resilience and problem-solving skills
This workshop isn’t a “lecture-style” presentation. It’s an interactive, experiential journey that creates lasting behavioral change. It’s not about motivation—it’s about transformation.
Beyond her personal journey, Taylor has built a thriving wellness community of changemakers, entrepreneurs, and leaders. Her events, retreats, and workshops bring people together in ways that push them to expand beyond their limits. Through scientific insights, global wellness practices, and even local and indigenous wisdom, Taylor offers a wellness experience that’s as dynamic as it is rooted in science.
Participants in her community don’t just learn—they evolve. They walk away with the tools to master their physiology, reframe their inner dialogue, and move with purpose.

Women’s Coaching Program Online
GetFitSmarter: Taylor’s Online Coaching Program for Women in Premenopause
Taylor’s wellness expertise extends to her online coaching program, GetFitSmarter—a science-backed program designed to help premenopausal women reclaim control over their bodies.
This program helps women:
Lose stubborn belly fat (especially as hormones shift)
Increase bone density (before menopause, when it becomes nearly impossible)
Regulate sugar cravings (and ditch the all-or-nothing mindset)
Build metabolic flexibility (so their body burns both fat and carbs for energy)
Taylor explains that, for women in this stage of life, belly fat is not just “extra weight.” It’s a sign that hormonal changes are impacting insulin sensitivity, cortisol, and estrogen balance. This isn’t solved with diet fads—it’s solved with hormone-driven metabolic training.
Inside GetFitSmarter, Taylor’s clients learn how to:
Reset their metabolism using breath, meal timing, and metabolic flexibility training
Build strength and bone density to prevent future health issues
Ditch the need for “perfect” diets and workouts and master the art of balance
*This 12-week program includes automated or pre-recorded workouts, meal guidance, and strategies tailored to the unique challenges women face in their 40s and 50s. It’s not a crash course. It’s a sustainable, science-backed transformation.
