DIEP Fitness draws from a range of influences, including Hatha Yoga, Kundalini, Buddhist philosophy, and functional movement techniques. We use movement to access the neurochemical power of dopamine, serotonin, and oxytocin — the same chemicals responsible for mood, motivation, and social connection.
The 3 Phases of DIEP Fitness
1️⃣ THE BASE: We ground ourselves with intention and clarity. This phase activates the prefrontal cortex to sharpen focus and align movement with breath. Movements in this phase improve mental clarity, increase flexibility, and awaken the nervous system.
2️⃣ THE CLIMB: This is the challenge phase where we push the body to its metabolic edge. This phase includes strength training, movements that increase bone density, and metabolic drills that train your body to switch between fat- and carb-burning modes.
3️⃣ THE SUMMIT: Here, we master "the switch" — the ability to shift from stress to calm at will. You’ll practice breathwork, HRV training, and metabolic flexibility exercises. This phase supports your ability to switch from fight-or-flight to calm, from fat-burning to carb-burning, and from reactive to responsive.

The Mountain Journey is a 3-phase experience that trains participants to master emotional agility, metabolic flexibility, and nervous system regulation. You’ll learn how to "switch" from stress to calm, from indecision to clarity, and from doubt to action.
The Three Phases of The Mountain Journey
The Base — Laying the foundation for success. We prepare the mind and body for the climb ahead using visualization, breath control, and focus-building exercises.
The Climb — This is where we push through resistance, using strength-based movement, breath-holding, and HRV training to simulate the stress of “the climb.”
The Summit — Here, we learn to "switch." We practice breath, HRV, and metabolic flexibility training to teach the nervous system how to shift from stress to calm — a crucial skill for leaders, caregivers, and anyone navigating high-pressure situations.
